Hello all, as im puttering on my car its obvious that most of the gaskets are shot who has the best complete kit for the whole engine....pan, valve covers, intake, exhaust etc etc.

Also is there a mounting gasket for the distributor??????? when i pulled mine of too send too Jason there was no signs of a gasket!!!!????

I'd guess that 80% of the Packards with distributors mounted as yours is are missing the cork gasket for the distributor mounting, and they seem to do quite nicely without it - rarely if ever any signs of oil seepage. But why not just cut a ring gasket from some sheet cork?

Over the years I've bought complete engine gasket sets from both Kanter and Egge, both were completely satisfactory.

Max Merritt and Kanter can provide you with an engine overhaul gasket set. A shaped cork gasket for the distributor should be included with a gasket set.

Thanks for the input guys.....i could make my own true, but if i am going to reseal everything and the kit has it i wont make it.

I asked because the pictures at both sites do not show a cork distributor gasket.....but a lot of the times they do not show all the gaskets.

I can't say that I can recall that gasket ever being included in any of the gasket sets I bought.

You might try Olson's Gaskets in Oregon as they have individual gaskets, partial sets and full sets for many makes and models and can make just about anything else. If the distributor gasket isn't included, I'm sure they can supply it. (First I ever heard of a distributor gasket!)
