Ive recently rebuilt the standard 8 motor of my 1101, I have noticed a major change in power each time we have put in new plugs in the motor.
We have gapped them 26 to 32, can anyone give me some feed back regarding how much the plugs should be gapped and also any gapping numbers for the points

Plug gap 0.025", breaker points 0.018 - 0.022". I recommend you buy a copy of the Service Letters.

What plugs are you using?

As we all know it could b 100 things. Over the year after a engine overhaul the 2 things that seem to poke their head up is GROUND Paint! and Head Torque. Might b worth a look.

If they dont work get back to me and ill give u the other 98.
