Honestly there are just 2 major things keeping me from pressing on:

1. Inability/lack of knowledge to remove the engine from the car myself safely. If I could do that I'd dive right in and try to rebuild it myself. Heck it's just a machine.

2. The very real possibility of needing to move for work before summer.

For me, getting everything disconnected on an engine is harder than actually pulling it! Have you considered simply putting it into storage while you move? I used to store a huge 1952 Henney-Packard and it was very reasonable although probably a bit more these days but might be a good temporary solution.

I'm also willing to accept trades. Particularly interested in 1958 models and the 1946-50's, though open to all.

Thanks Man, I'd keep it and keep working on it but all the joy has gone out of it for me.

Can I ask why, Trevor?? What changed? Gorgeous old car; looks like it was your passion at one time. Just curious.... Chris.

Hard to say. It's a marvelous car, and it won't be my last, but since I lost the passion and joy of keeping it going it's probably better in someone else's hands. I'd still personally love to pull the engine and rebuild it myself, but given personal circumstances that's something I couldn't get to for probably the next year and the idea of ANY car sitting that long without being driven gives me pains lol
