JW, the installation template that accompanied the accessory mirror kit provides two installation positions, on the door and on the fender approximately where shown in that photo.

Thanks O.D. I have seen fender mounted mirrors on Packards, but the ones on this Clipper were the first for me. Also, the mirrors appear, to me, to be after market types. Still interesting and attractive looking.

I have also looked at that Packard glad you picked it up. If you need parts for it and you are near tacoma I have a stock set of wheels and some more parts.
