Wiring Junior Trippe Lights

I picked up a pair of junior trippe lights at a swap meet and want to install them on my 1937 One Twenty. How should these be wired into the light switch? Can we tap into an existing circuit in the wiring harness or run a new wire externally?

Thanks

Hi Pack120C,

There'll be electrical experts weighing in on this for sure, and I seem to recall a wiring diagram for 'driving lights' being posted not that long ago. I bought a set of Unity/Packard lights for my car and they came with an under-dash switch. That allowed them to be wired 'independently' of the regular Headlight wiring and all that was required for power was a hot wire to the switch, which I grabbed from a 'key-on-only' contact on the ignition switch. (easy to find with a multi-meter) I'd use a good heavy gauge wire and a fairly stout fuse as the lights draw quite a bit of juice. Chris.
