Thanks for the replies and suggestions re page sizing. The issue I am having is not with the general site page being too wide; it's the width of the post screen.
If I have the 'front page' of the site on my screen, it fits fine, but click on a post and the script is way wider than the screen and I have to 'arrow' back and forth to read a post. This used to occur occasionally on the old server when someone would post a photo or attach something that would enlarge the width; now it's all the time. Just curious if it was something anyone else is noticing and if there was a 'quick fix' without having to bug Big Kev, as I KNOW he has a huge 'platefull' right now. Chris

Chris, I've not had that happen on the old or the new version unless, as you said, someone posted a photo that was too large.

For large photos like that, the site's software should automatically resize them on upload but it doesn't always seem to do so, or else they are photos that have been one the site from before the resizing was done. Otherwise, I'm not sure if it is because people sometimes upload .png images which are not part of the Web standard (only .jpg/.jpeg and .gif are) and they are not getting converted during upload.

Ok, I've made some changes to the forum. So it should work similarly to how it did before. If there are new/unread posts in a particular topic, clicking on that topic link should take you to the first unread post. If it doesn't, let me know. That should. Also clicking on the Topic from the "Recent Forum Topics" on the left side menu should do the same thing now as well.

I think that going to be the last change for today... I'm burned out.

I can't imagine all the work so thank you very much! Rest as long as you want as it is nearly all working very well.

Just some minor changes this morning. Some subtle changes to the css/theme for the website. You won't see it unless you do a forced refresh of the webpage. Shift-F5 on Win-Pc, or Shift-Command-R on Mac. It pretty subtle, so don't worry if you don't see it.

Also, don't forget to reset your avatars if you haven't. View Account > Avatar

Big Kev,
I have been trying to imagine all the work and frustration you must be going through with this move. I envision it being like when a guy gets a new laptop and scrambles to get everything back to 'normal', only this is like that, with three zeroes after it! I have hit the 'donate' button and will again, as soon as I can; in the meantime, a huge thank you is due for all the time and effort expended. One fine site. Chris.
