Question, I've always been told that the 6 cylinder cars are not worth putting your money into? Is this one worth more because it is a 2dr?

I'm looking at it because it's a two-door.

And if we wind up doing this deal, it's won't stay a six for long . . . .

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Oh Hell no!!! Homie don't play that. If I were to do a modern v8, it's be a Mopar 400 with whatever.

No, think Long Engine.

I like this engine:

I also prefer the rest of the car's body. Those sixes cars are the lightest of the offerings that year.

I don't think you can just throw in a Packard straight eight into a car that started as a six. There's a difference in length of the chassis between the cowl and the front. Am I wrong?

The 6 cylinder 245 and the 282 share the wheelbase. I've noted on my car what almost looks like a heavy sheet metal spacer between the radiator and the front horse shoe mounting. Whether that would have been removed for the 282 engine option or not. John

I believe Wat's looking at mounting it on a Senior chassis. Only the body cowl back being used. I think that would fit.

How do you make sure the car is accurately represented in the future? I think that there are under 30 real Senior Clipper 2-drs.

Yes the cowl back is the same on these Clippers, the front sheet metal is different on the senior.
