Fred has no opposable thumbs, so she's sod-all help at turning wrenches. She is good company, present, pleasant, and positive.

And I suspect that she kills something every day, and as long as I am not it, all is well.

Yesterday's bring-back. Fred is oddly disinterested today.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Fred has read the history of Bunker Hunt and his cornering of the silver market 40 years ago. I have reminded her that we want to stay out of prison.

We have two more definites, a solid maybe, and a frame and engine with no body. There's the wing under construction with room for a boatload of shelving as part of the plan. This fall will be storage and inventory, and then construction of the first of several begins.

Went to supper and came home after dark, and Fred comes out from under one of the cars to be worshipped. Earlier, when the landlady was out doing a chore, Fred poked her head out of the '41 parts cars to see what one of her minions was up to. She watches them closely, it seems.

Fred has spoken . . . .

Fred needs a few pointers on Proper Hood Ornament Placement. Which begs the question, would she then be a Kibble Chaser or a Mouse-n-Bird Chaser?

again Wat. This time for including your '42 Special Six Clipper Club Sedan in the Packard Vehicle Registry. Fred certainly has a good selection of Packards to play around with.

Good Lord, man, were you sitting right there waiting for me to add that??? I wager it's time for your Satiddy morning coffee. Fred is currently spending a lot of time in the '41. She seems to have staked out the back seat for napping. It showered this afternoon so she was dry, not that she minds water all that much. She's an odd cat.

Okay, but it looked a bit like the dreaded Internet Stalking. :D

Saturday morning coffee here and trying to sort plans for what seems like a rainy weekend. I might build more walls between raindrops and twist a wrench in Fred's hay house while it falls. To be determined . . . .

Got some more goodies pulled off of Rusty Bucket, the 2106. I'm raiding the insides at this point, which goes with the rainy weekend in the forecast this weekend. Found two rats' nests (so far), and damn did those things stink. That was in and among the various nut shells. Things that happen when the floors rot out.

I had to pry the front doors open. They both were binding on the backs of the front fenders. What a pain - not for the faint of heart.

So, I'm guessing that salvaging all of the electric stuff, all of the gauges and lights and lenses would be a winning concept. It has the blue upholstery of which I'm a big fan, and the rear lazyback was covered and can donate a lovely sample for future matching. I'm guessing that saving the front seat trundle portion may wind up just being a waste of space, but it does seem to have all the brightwork still in place, as do the door panels. So I reckon I'll keep it.

Fred was there to supervise. She's good company.
