Good that you mention that--I have encountered it several times but had forgotten about it. That is something quick and easy to look for.

Just dealt with that on my 400..

With the oil bath. No. Zip.

Went with paper..still no zip . and bucking.

Went to taller paper filter.

Have zip..i can climb hills.

Probably could go taller .. With filter. If they make it.

If I had a plasma cutter. I would cut the oil bath mesh can and put a paper filter in there.

Or stainless mesh. I think the paper is to restrictive.. Also.

I try to run it around town with the top off the air cleaner for a little while and see what happens
