...Also, the previous post uses embed tags which are not supported here and the link within them doesn’t appear to work anyway. Both posts (#56 from 2020/7/22 and #57 from 2020/7/23) with embedded videos were made before the website changed. Up to that time embedded videos had been supported and both worked very well just like all the other thousands. The links to the sources of the videos, shown at the bottom of the posts, work down to the present day. A film clip made October 9, 1964 showing some few sequences of the leftover of the Packard-driven monorail and tight shots of equipment that say "Goodell Monorail". -> This way, please, to the Youtube video. "1956 "Industry on Parade" Is a newsreel segment on the Houston Texas Arrowhead Park demonstration monorail by Monorail Inc. The monorail was called the Trailblazer. President of Monorail Inc was Muriel Goodell, is considered the father of the modern monorail in North America. This monorail was built three years before the Disney monorail built by Alweg started to run. This thread started out addressing Randy Berger. Randy was a friend of mine through collecting Ives trains as well. He passed away in 2019 and I managed to buy some of this trains when Stout Auctions sold off most of his collection. I knew him for probably ten or fifteen years, I had no idea he had a passion for Packards as well.

Like you, -> many of us also feel the lack of Randy’s presence. His -> train collection was -> part of our small talks every once in a while until -> going under the hammer.
