Is there a good source for parts for a 1948 Super 8 Victoria? I have tried Max Merritt and Kantner, but have yet to find a single part that I am looking for. It seems like they are mostly into prewar stuff.

I have also written and called Tuscon Packard multiple times, but can’t seem to ever get a response.

What do you need?

You're in OH so dealers near you are Ross in MD, Dwight Heinmuller also in MD (packardparts.org), and Bob in Marionetta PA.

What kind of parts do you need? You might also try Seattle Packards and perhaps Pacific Southwest for used items. Not his specialty years but Flackmaster has also been known to come up with the odd 22-23rd series part. NOS mechanical parts should be available from some of the larger vendors as the drivetrain parts were shared by other models and years. Some limited body parts could be shared by other models so may also be available used.

Trim and interior parts are another matter. Being a convertible will make those parts much harder to find. The convertible was a rather low production model as far as the total cars made so it is caught between a rock and a hard place. Low production -- not many spare parts were made to start with so not a huge supply were ever available. In the used category, being a convertible means even something bad enough to be considered a parts car for other models could be worth restoring so not many of those are around and available for parts either.

It might be wise to state what you are looking for as I have been cleaning out my shop and discarding a lot of 22nd and 23rd series parts. Dell

411273- driver upper hinge
399029 drivers striker Plate
391875- left hinge convertible top folding pillar to side rail

Sorry, hinges went out with the last load. You can buy oversize hinge pins and fix most of them. Check Restoration Supply, will look for a drivers side striker.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but if you might be offloading something I could use....
I'm looking for the following for my Custom Eight Victoria:
Stainless trim between windshield and vent window (holds weatherstrip to vent window). Both sides.
Passenger side stainless interior trim rear quarter window.
I believe both of the above are the same Super vs Custom.
Also, my rear top bow was replaced with one from a later car. I know the original was wood. If I can get a pattern, I may remake.
My backseat lower cushion was lost at some point.. I have a sedan cushion to cut down/modify but if I could get one..

I have a bow that is out. i can trace a pattern for you. It should be easy to make if u laminate strips.

I am looking for a left outside door handle assembly for my 1950 series 23. Condition not too important as long as it works, I just want one so I can get the right and left side door handles on my car re-chromed without tying the car up for several weeks --- already have a spare right side door handle. Thanks
