Browsing the site looking at unread posts and not reloading pages or doing anything else out of the ordinary, I just got suddenly locked out! To post this, I had to shut off WiFi and use cellular only. As far as I can tell, my WiFi IP has not changed.

These are the checkboxes but they seem to come and go. Sometimes they’re there and other times they are not.

For what it is worth, I see the squares too in the Forum Topics section on any forum. There is some other symbol occupying the same space in the forums that have an Important Topics section. As Don said, the boxes do not seem to respond or do anything.

I'll take a look at it.
The links not working in a post should be fixed now.

Don, on your wi-fi issue am curious if you are using a private home setup or maybe a hot spot or some kind of public wi-fi. If home, is it a guest account or something that has restrictions in access to the rest of the devices on a network? Just wondering if there is some kind of multiple router setup and maybe the signal is jumping to another router that is randomly changing what you think is your constant IP address before it goes out.

I never use guest accounts or hotspots even when traveling but when it happened last night I was sitting in my living room on my own restriction-free single-router WiFi. The same error has happened before but not for a while.

Don, The internal address seen on your iPad provided by your router should be relatively stable but one thing you might do is take note of your normal good public IP address where everything works and then the next time the issue happens immediately get the IP address you are leasing at the time and see if you can get a correlation to one specific address or a range that is causing the issue. I don't know how often the address will change but it used to be the providers refreshed or renewed public IP address leases every 24 hours or so. You might need to take note of a good address before a session at packardinfo starts.
To get the public address you can use Safari or whatever browser you use on the device having the issue and go towhatismypublicip.com A website will open and on mine it gives the public IP being used at that instant as well as a map and coordinates showing where the IP address is located.
