Stewart-Warner electric fuel pump. Probably not going to use it on your project. You should have a mechanical fuel pump on the Packard engine.

I figured that but it did come off the Packard underneath the car right by the rear axle on the driver side it was basically mounted right under the the back seat but underneath the car

Do you possibly have any idea of what it came off of if it's not a Packard

Agree it appears to be a fuel pump but not anything Packard used as stock or offered as an option. Is that grayish looking line visible in the 2nd thru 5th photos an electrical wire out of the pump or something laying on the bench? If a wire maybe an aftermarket electric pump.

There was only a mechanical fuel pump as stock and it would look like the one in the red circle in this photo. If there was an optional fuel filter it would be a ceramic with glass bowl type mounted directly on the inlet port at the carb.

This electric fuel pump is a generic hot rod part and not for any specific automobile. They are still available at Summit Racing or other parts stores. From what I have read an electric fuel pump was added by owners to some Packards to get fuel quickly to the carburetor for quicker starts or to overcome vapor lock in the fuel line.
If your mechanical fuel pump and fuel system is good you shouldn't need an electric pump. Original fuel pumps are available from the Packard suppliers or can be rebuilt. I rebuilt mine with parts from Now and Then Automotive but they will also rebuild them. Yours should look something like this:

No that's that's actually a tack cable from an MGB.
Yeah I see the the fuel filter right next to the carburetor every time I look up fuel pump the picture you showed me is what I keep coming up with but the one that I have the picture of that I posted did come off the Packard it was on the driver side rear like under the bench seat on the driver side underneath wait right in front of the rear axle so I'm not sure exactly what that is there is a wire that does go to it that runs up through the floorboard under the bench seat in the back.

Um actually the fuel system is not really in good condition at all I just got a new tank and fuel sender or sending unit the old one that came out was bad the carburetor had been rebuilt I'm assuming the fuel filter is well has been that whole system and the fuel lines I'm pretty sure need to be replaced too cuz it's all like I don't know yellowish oranges stuff all over it like that one I just showed in that picture this car has literally not been run in about 40 years.
I have not even looked at the manual fuel pump I figured that's what that was and now that I know and I appreciate the advice I'm going to look at it tomorrow and that'll probably have to be rebuilt
