How about we get back to finding the speedster and see what the hood ornament is....last known location of the car was England.

Parts of it could be hanging up on the wall of somebody's garage for all we know. The last known photo shows the normal LeBaron hood ornament on it.

When I look at the period pictures I am inclined to conclude that isn't the one that was on the car. Who knows why he wanted that ugly little thing. Maybe he had boxer dogs. I still think it is a novelty item that was sold retail.
