You so funny!!! Actually, that car is problematically weird because of the factory air, which I want like another hole in my head. But the body bears a look-see. Heading back to VA on Thursday, and that car is maybe 75 miles from the house, so I'm obliged to go to see it. The trick is, who wants/needs the a/c bits out of it?

Okay, I looked through the pictures of this car with a good load of coffee on board. There's pretty much no body left on it. Floors and rockers are history. If a body wanted the drivetrain and the a/c parts, I reckon that it's worth it, just not to Wat. Pity is, I found a good bodied Clipper 6 last fall and the guys were losing their storage, and I may what I consider to be a reasonable offer, but they were holding out for some guy from TX who was coming with a truckload of money to pick it up. I wager that he was mythical and that it went to the crusher along with the two 50-something rustbuckets. That would be a damned shame.

"All original", even the original over-spray all over Could actually be a nice car, except for the price and fresh paint?

1955 400 in Houston, for $17k:houston.craigslist.org/cto/d/houston-1955-packard-400-coupe-all/7603204378.html$17k:
Looks interesting, especially if the paint is truly still original. At the same time, it is a bit puzzling how the seller tells us to research Packards, if we don't know anything about them, and then proposes that it has a working air ride

Here are a few new listing I found today:
1937 115C Convertible Coupe. Looks pretty nice, but someone stuck on some extra chrome emblems. Located in NH: nh.craigslist.org/ctd/d/milton-mills-1937-packard-roadster/7612270253.html 1952 300. A bit shabby, but not too bad and cheap at $3,195. Interior is completely wrong, however. Upstate NY fingerlakes.craigslist.org/cto/d/branchport-1952-packard-200/7611914308.html Very nice 1949 (22nd Series) Club Sedan. Has 288 CI, can't tell if it is a Standard or a Deluxe Eight. Located in PA: philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/fort-w ... n-rare-1949-packard/7607006190.html 1942 Clipper 160 Super Eight. Body No. 1572. Solid unrestored example, but asking price is ridiculous at $45K. Greenville, SC: greenville.craigslist.org/cto/d/greenville-antique-auto/7612476746.html Very nice 1956 400 in Atlanta, GA area. Think this one may have been posted here before, but it looks like a really good car: atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/d/east-ellijay-1956-packard-400/7608178786.html 1941 120 Sedan. Ad states car was partially restored about 30 years ago, and then parked. Mechanicals, paint and chrome were done. Some work still needed. Looks really good in the photos. Kansas City, MO: kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/harrisonville-1941-packard-120/7606403955.html 1948 Standard 8 Club Sedan. Well patinaed original car. Someone stuck on Custom 8 side trim and fashioned a third rear brake light out of a 23rd series tail light assembly. Needs a lot of work but has an accessory sun visor and Packard script spotlight. Love the look of a sun visor on 1940's cars. sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/valley-fo ... 8-packard-eight-2dr/7613000050.html 1948 Station Sedan in Southern CA. Rough project car. You will need advanced woodworking skills to tackle this one. Ad says there are two cars, but only see one in the ad. Has several other cars for sale and also a project vintage airplane: inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/adelan ... aley-jaguar-packard/7611017419.html 1938 Six Sedan. Nicely restored car in Southern CA: visalia.craigslist.org/cto/d/visalia-1938-packard-touring-sedan/7604087961.html

The 49 club sedan appears to be a Standard, not Deluxe.
The 41 120 is a touring sedan, not a formal sedan, but that's pretty obvious

The 1951 300 looks silly with the cormorant’s wings on upside down! It’s a bird, not a contortionist!
