That's an option. Currently, the arms I have are too long and mismatched.

So would at least like to get two of the same.

Going back to the link Howard provided for the company in the UK. These (see link) are adjustable to 140mm and have the correct drive configuration. My question is, the arm-to-blade attachment doesn't appear to be the same. This looks like it takes a rubber peg of something.

My knowledge of the different attachment styles is very limited.

As far as I know, Packard didn't use anything like that in your era. They used the type that hooked into place.

The originals, I belive, were the "Hook and Saddle" type.

If you posted close up photos of the two arms you have perhaps someone could come up with a match for one of them. Once you had two matching arms then do the cut and re-rivet acolds suggested.

I heard back from Ficken Wiper Service just to see if they had any old stock lying around.

They did not, and neither did Kanter.

But Ficken did confirm that these, as Brian stated before, have only one application 1937 115-C/120-C Convertible Coupe only. They don't cross to any other make or model.

So, it looks like I'll be buying a matching sedan pair and cutting them down.

Thanks, everyone for the help and suggestions.

I spoke to Chris at Max Merrit. They only show a single listing for 1937 Junior cars, and I pointed out that the junior convertibles take a shorter arm. Not sure they were aware of that, but as pointed out, the part book confirms it, he will talk to Fred about it.

Apparently, they assemble their own wiper arms from parts they have made. So I can't see a reason why they couldn't make a shorter version if they already all have various parts.

I'll post a follow-up once I know more. If so, that will provide a source of this very specific wiper arm.

Update from Max. They do make the correct 5" arms. They carry everything under the same 1937 part number in their system. But when they make them to the correct length based on the specific car model.

So a set of 5" arms and matching blades are coming to me.

Hopefully, this exercise helps the next guy out there looking for them.

Good job! I buy a lot of parts from them and even having an order that was supposed to arrive today but is coming tomorrow instead. Fred is always very patient with me and Jackie worked hard to try to find a way to get the long Henney tailpipe to me last year at a reasonable cost (although in the end I figured it out kind of by accident).
