As has been discussed in the past, no torque specs were issued for pre-war cars. However, the specs on a 53 I believe are relevant as the parts are about the same as are the fasteners.
Flywheel to crankshaft: 55-60 ft/lbs
Clutch pressure plate to flywheel: 25-30 ft/lbs.

Believe the pressure plate to flywheel bolts were the same size on all so the torque specs BobJ gave should be good although the 46-50 SM has them slightly less. If you are working on a 160 with the 356 engine believe the flywheel to crank bolts may be the larger 1/2" so a different spec.

Remember to place the 3/8 nuts under the levers on the pressure plate before trying to bolt the plate on. Not sure if pressure plate will slide in the bellhousing opening without them keeping the levers retracted but if it does, the nuts taking the pressure off definitely makes starting and tightening the bolts easier.
