wanted both right and left cast metal trim piece that secures the door edge trim casting (group # 30.356, plate #20E of theP&A book. It is shown as #30.3362.

I believe these are the parts needed and the group number given in the post above as 30.3362 is a typo and should be 30.3562. If that is incorrect, please advise or provide a photo or markup on the parts illustration so those who might have something get an idea of what to look for.

If the item is correct, there is a front and rear molding so you might also clarify if you need the front and rear pieces for both sides or just the front or rear piece.

The 55-6 rear is the same but a different number for the front piece on 56 models. Not sure what the difference might be but it could have something to do with meeting a piece of stainless trim added to the ends of the 56 dash.

My need is the item shown at the lower left hand of the illustration. Both sides are missing from the door front towards the windshield.

Yes, I am sure Gerry would have a few of those.

He needs the 55 piece and the photo Riki posted is the same as mine so maybe a 56 version. The 56 item does have a different part number. Could someone post a photo of a 55 piece to show the difference so Gerry would know what to look for.

With the sort of ledge on the outer side of the piece in the photo am wondering if the difference might be in the thickness. Possibly the 56 piece was thinned at the inside to fit over the extra stainless added to the end of the dash in 56 models.

The 56 differs from the 55. The 56 has two screws that fasten to the long die cast piece , with the screw heads facing front toward the windshield. The 55 seems to have a single screw that goes through the vinyl covering and door card to fasten to the door stamping. I have a problem loading pics, sorry.

I can't tell in the pictures. I'm looking for the small trim pieces thay aesthetically connect the long rocker trim and the wheel cover.

They are a chromed casting with two studs in the back. They attach with two nuts screwed onto the studs.

Wondering availability and pricing.
