1954 Clipper Inoperative Temp and Fuel Gauge

My 1954 Packard Clipper Two-Door Club Sedan (327c.i.) has an inoperative temp and fuel gauge. I made sure all the wiring connections are secure behind the instrument cluster, especially to the gauge voltage regulator behind the binnacle. I suspect it could be the gauge voltage regulator, but not sure. I can get these gauges to register, slightly, when I increase engine RPM, but, mostly they seem dead. I tested the temp gauge by contacting the feed wire from the sender to the engine block, and got full deflection on the gauge, so I know the gauge works. If it's the gauge voltage regulator, does anyone know where to get one? If I can't source the regulator, does anyone know of a work around? Thanks for any thoughts on this topic.
Best Regards

The same voltage regulator was used 52-56. Also some ford's used the same one into the 70s as their gauages were also 5v.

Napa carried them last time I checked. It may be in the Parts X-Ref

Thank you, Ernie and BigKev! I didn't see anything for the voltage regulator in the parts x-ref for the voltage regulator, so I'll check out the NAPA website.

Pretty much any Ford instrument voltage regulator from the 50s-60s will work.

Here is one: Napa ECH IR1

But Autozone has a Duralast one that looks the same that is much cheaper.

But they both use push on terminals vs the screw terminals of the original ones.

But that being said, I would imagine that either Gerry and Packards Southwest or Mike Dulinski probably have coffee cans full of good original ones at inexpensive prices.

I made a video on how these work. Of course, since these are relatively cheap, most probably wouldn't care to repair it. But it's interesting nonetheless and usually can be quickly fixed for free if you have a bench top power supply, and your instrument cluster already removed from the vehicle. You will also need a spare fuel sender, or at least a 5 ohm resistor to put in series with your reference gauge, to keep its reading in bounds.
