Now that you've said that and gave such a glowing recommendation, you'd best buy stock in the company as I failed to do with Gummi Pflege Stift!

Glad this is done, once you start there's no turning back! It was a little unnerving. 😬

Windlace is harder to dye, but looks better.

That turned out nice. Same dye that you used on the seat frames?

Yes, same dye, same process. Now I'll be able to get my carpet set made and put the interior back in so I can go for a drive!

Another little project done. The finish on the rear window deck was wiping off, so I gave it a light sanding and painted it. I think the colour/finish is pretty close to original as it's much the same as the portion that was under the speaker cover.

For heavy rust stains, like where metal was contacting fabric, I used Didi Seven without diluting it and put it directly and only on the stain. The longer you leave it the more stain it will remove, but it will also remove any colour out of the fabric, which is okay, you just have to do a little dyeing to get the colour back.

For lighter staining, rust or otherwise, I diluted some Didi Seven with water in a spray bottle for more even application. It takes a bit of experimenting, which I recommend doing. It is safe for fabric so leaving it on for an extended period of time for heavy staining seems to be okay.

I tried several other products on rust stains with very little success.
