Well, the engine was built by Chrysler. And the last Imperials were not that much different from the New Yorker series. I've heard that the 1976-1977 New Yorker was nothing more than a 1975 Imperial with slightly different trim.

1954 Caribbean and 1953 Clipper Deluxe. Just spotted on FB Marketplace. Rough unrestored but Carribean looks doable. Body looks pretty good from what I can see in the photos. Package deal, only $4k for both cars. Ad states Caribbean is a '53 but it is definitely a '54. Wisconsin:

Dodge's, Plymouth's and Desoto's engine are also made by Chrysler but they are not called Chrysler Dodge etc. We Imperial owners are picky about that!

Have always liked Imperials myself. Especially the 1957-59 models. Love those big fins. 1964-66 models too. Very distinctive cars.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

Interesting project: parked indoors 25 years and has no engine. HOWEVER the paint and interior were supposedly redone at that time, and everything else worked when parked. Though I'm sure it would all need gone through again at this point.

56 400, best offer

That's a private group, can't see the Packard you are posting about without joining the group.

Couple of nice ones I spotted today on FB Marketplace:

Very nice original 1958 Hardtop. Would not take too much to get this one back on the road. Ad states car was in a local museum for many years. Mississippi:

1932 902 Convertible coupe. Looks to be almost all original. Complete and beautiful car. Love this one and really wish I could afford it! Lansing, MI:

1936 120 Coupe. Older restoration but looks excellent. AACA National First winner in 1988. I don't think the asking price of $38K is too much for a car of this caliber. What do you think. Pennsylvania

1949 (23rd Series) Golden Anniversary Club sedan. Unrestored, but looks like it could be a great project for somebody. Body looks exceptionally solid and still has the original Anniversary Gold paint. Appears to be either a Standard or a Deluxe Eight. Pennsylvania:
