These are a repop of the originals.

Most were black, but also came in green/blue/brown/red.

I have a black set in the Jackard.

I believe Kanter sold the black original style repro's HPH shows and also believe until 55 black was the only original color they came in. Don't know if the original pattern 55-6 colored mats that complemented the interior color theme was ever repro'd. I have only seen the PI color style so If the original colors and pattern were repro'd it was a long long time ago and surely all are gone by now.

In 1948 it was Gray, Black, Green, Red, then at some point (probably 1954) the design was changed and Blue was added. Then in 1956 (possibly 1955) a second style was added and additional color options of white and beige were added.

This more refined styling is what I would expect from Packard. Some day I'll make some mats out of carpet, maybe add a design/logo of some sort.

I stand corrected on the earlier color availability but guess I never saw one or maybe just didn't pay attention. Still believe that except for the colors with the PI version only the black factory style was repro'd. If there were other color repro's, it must have been early on or vendors didn't seem to advertise them to any large extent in Hemming's or other old car publications popular in the days before the internet. I do remember the black mats being in many of Kanters ads and in his 70 and 80s catalogs.

This is what the 1953 Owners Manual pictures in the accessory section, no logo on these ones.

Does anyone know what the dimensions of these are?

Here is a (bad) picture of the original floor mats. Though these say "Made In Israel" so I would suppose they are replicas.

Can you tell me what the dimensions of those mats are?
