Called these guys. I'll bring my 2 radiators to them maybe next week to test.

I am happy with the work they did.
They did repair and testing and then I decided to have it recored.
They put in a new style larger core.
They do good work, in a reasonable time and stand behind it.
The new core wasn’t inexpensive, but I wasn’t expecting it to be.
So far it has been working and cooling well.

I also used Moyers Auto Services and Radiator in Greensburg PA. I know they have the equipment to re-core heater cores and they did some gas tank refurbishment for me in the past well. Good work, nice people.

I called and both Hunzeker and Moyer would test and could recore it if necessary. Took my rad and heater core to Hunzeker because they were a lot closer. $25 each to flush and test.

Got the news back from the radiator shop. Both the rad and the heater core are leaky. The rad would cost $850 to fix and the heater core $250.

I think I will try the Ford truck radiator setup. The heater core I suspect I could find a trans cooler that would work well enough, but it's not a priority.

If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know.

For the radiator, I bought that Ford truck rad and hose. So I will test fit that when it comes in.

I actually was able to get my driver side rear door unstuck yesterday. It had been stuck since I bought the car and likely for decades more than that.

In further news, the dash is back in.

Photo of the old door latch. Didn't even know they could get this bad 😬
Special thanks to Ross for the new latch a while back.

By the way, my turn signal indicators don't work even though the tail bulbs do. The light bulbs are good and I tried 2 different flashers. Maybe a broken wire somewhere?? Or am I using an incorrect flasher?

Good tip, though on this one the gears are already so messed up, it would just tear up the rack were I to reuse it.
