I've searched throughout and come up empty. Is there a location on a 1937 Super 8 frame where a serial number is stamped?

Packard didn't have frame numbers in 1937 unfortunately.

Vehicle Number was only on the Patent Plate.

Well, that certainly explains why I couldn't find it.

Packard did use frame numbers, on senior models thru 1936, not sure they were used after that. But they were not the same as the vehicle number, they were in the same numeric series as the steering gear and motor numbers. They were located above the rear shackle of the front driver's side leaf spring, near the trunnion block when that was a feature.
