I've searched throughout and come up empty. Is there a location on a 1937 Super 8 frame where a serial number is stamped?

Packard didn't have frame numbers in 1937 unfortunately.

Thanks Owen, I did see in a '33 document where that location was indicated. Apparently in the '36 too. I have a '37 with the independent front suspension and cannot find a frame number in that same location. I do realize that Packard did not use frame numbers as vehicle ID. Registering an old car in Texas that's been off the books for decades presents some challenges. There are a few options as to what number to use and I want to cover my bases. Thanks for your input.

Where licensing agencies will allow it, the theft-proof number embossed on the cowl would be my choice as it's unique to the vehicle, not easily altered, and part of the fixed structure of the body.
