Curious about dash cluster

I was going thru the shed organizing things.........and when I got to the dash clusters I noticed the speedometer on my 56 Executive is black. The other instruments are green. It has never been apart, there are no tools marks to indicate otherwise. The speedometer on the 56 clipper I saved from being crushed all the instruments are a green color. Is this as it should be?

Just being curious.

I think the speedo on the top is from a 55 Clipper. Executives used 56 Clipper equipment.

I see your mileage went up considerably, or maybe it went down.
