If anyone is looking for period license plates, Live auctions has an auction (Check the oil promotions) scheduled for Oct. 27 that is from a large collection. Most are from the northeast.

Sorry the app only has a share to specific items so I had to go the website route:https://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/343064_license-plate-auction-dennis-kuhn-collection/

I bought something through them many years ago and still haven't received it!

I've purchased a good bit from that particular auction house and others via Live with no issues though be mindful of fees and shipping for larger items b/c that deal may be like getting a free engine on the other side of the country.

I am waiting for the Atlanta post office to have an auction of various items I have bought from eBay that disappear.

The thing is, they are an auction brokerage so your item(s) may have come from a more dependable place than mine. One lot, a large box of Packard books and manuals, came quickly but a pair of NOS Custom scripts for my Clipper had broken pins and no response when I inquired. Another item never arrived at all and no communication in spite many attempts to contact them.

Ugh. I feel your pain. I had a few unique/rare Packard items get lost but was at least fortunate enough to get refunded without a fight (eBay). And tracking numbers and numerous scans don't seem to help narrow down where/when stuff disappears.
