You can just remove the fuel line from the car (note the position of the clips and isolators).
Then bend a new 5/16 line into about the right shape. I like Install the P clips and isolators on the new line and mount it to the car. The same process for the brake lines, but 3/16 line. 4LIFETIMELINES - 5/16" (.312") Copper Nickel Roll/Coil of Fuel or Transmission Line - 25 ft.a.co/d/9w8nPzH

Hello all!! I’ve come with another update! After a lot of running (and way too much money.) we got our gas tank back today, good as new! So our next step will be getting a new fuel sending unit and figuring out how to get the gas lines off. Stay tuned! Big things are happening

Your local auto parts store can get you the sender. Ask for one for a 1957 Thunderbird which should be the same although you may need to make some adjustments to the float arm.

Reference the part diagrams. The fuel line probably just attaches with P clips.
