Have a long time friend that has been working on Packards for around 40 years in the L.A. area. He thinks it is time to let everything go. He does not want to be bothered, except by me, and wants to sell everything as one lot. Can I post around ten pictures of some of the stuff here? Is so, how to do? Sometimes I can post only one picture at a time and sometimes can post several. Thanks Todd

Yeah just click the photo icon next to the quotation mark near the top of the reply window. Wait until the "uploading please wait" text changes to a link, then click the button again to add another photo.

I have never had any problems with the photo functionality here.

You may be better served by starting a thread in the "Packard Vehicles - For Sale, Wanted, Trade" section of this forum.

You probably need to use an imaging program to reduce the file size of each of your remaining photos. The website photo size limit is 10000 Kb which equals 10 Mb for each photo. The photo you did post was over 7042 Kb so larger than 7Mb. The rest of them may be larger and that is probably the reason for the limit message you are seeing. If you can reduce the file size down to 500Kb or less, that will still be a decent photo to view and will both save on server space and allow for a faster download for those who might have a slower internet connection.

For an imaging program, if you use MacOS, the built in Preview app will reduce an image file size. If using Windows, it is a long time since I had a computer that used it but there may be a built in app by now which can reduce size. If not, Irfanview may still be free and that program has a reduce size function.

There is a photo posting FAQ Kev wrote that give a few more guidelines and reasons for error messages when posting photos.

Thanks all, used infanware many years ago a pain. And have many photos, perhaps will try something else? Trying to do this as a favor to everyone, and just had some surgery several days ago, not ready to try to fool with each individual photo just now? Perhaps a link? Let me know. Thanks
