Does anybody have any idea what these hubcaps are for? They have the appearance of the 1948-1950 type with Cloisonné but they are considerably larger at almost 14” across.
![]() ![]() They have 377847 written inside but it is not in the parts book. ![]() Also these which are the 1951-1953 junior style but with Cloisonné. ![]()

Thank you! Were they truly so massively large as to cover nearly the whole wheel without room for a beauty ring?

Thank you, Howard. I saw that before posting but, as it’s not an actual photograph, I’m not sure if it’s a good reference. However, if that’s the same wheel cover and shown accurately on a 16” wheel, wouldn’t there be less space around it if the wheel cover itself is 14”?

I forgot that 1941 made the partial switch to 15” wheels and if that’s the case and if these wheel covers fit one of those for 1942, then they are very large indeed and would cover most of the wheel!
