Tucson Packard? Parts not received.

Has anybody had any dealings with Mike Chirco at Tucson Packard?

I ordered a pair of rims which finally arrived after 3 weeks. I also ordered a set of front wheel bearings and spindle nuts and they haven't shown up. I've contacted him here in messages as well as emails. I've requested a tracking number but I haven't heard anything back.

This has been not very pleasant. My '49 is still sitting on blocks in my front yard as I have no way to put wheels on it. I've been fined by the city for having a derelict automobile on my property and some dirty looks from my neighbors. The city is threatening to tow it unless it's removed by the end of the month.

Disappointed and getting angry!

I got an email from UPS telling me they have a delivery for me tomorrow.

If it gets here, I'll take down this post.

I'm still really frustrated about why it would take a month to get some parts?

A month? Consider yourself lucky! Mike is a "one man show" and has a difficult time keeping up while also trying to organize several semis of parts recently received, not to mentioned getting the buildings built to house them.

I just have to chime in and ask the question.Number 1 Lawrence how exactly did your car being towed by the city become my problem when your first post looking for drums was back on October 26th. it was a full month and a half until you made the purchase. Number 2. I dont ship garbage parts. Ask Packard Don he begs me to send him parts dirty and greasy to save time, I just wont to it. My Dad didnt do it for 40 years, and im not going to start now. Number 3 I should have said no to your request to sell you the used bearings that came off the car the drums did. I guess i should have pulled them off the car and sent them. I can only imagine the wonderful things you would have said about me when you opened the box to find 75 year old bearings that have been sitting for 50 years. So i soaked them for a few days in solvent got them freed up, greased them, and sent them.you probably could have got them a few days earlier if you didnt want to save 40 bucks. Maybe you shouldnt have made your property look like a junk yard, with your car on blocks in front of your house. next time if you want junk call a junk yard. For anyone else who wants quality parts at a fair price, Im NOT Amazon Packard but i always guarantee you will be happy with your parts. Thank you for listening

I didn't get a letter from the city until two weeks ago. I had several leads or drums but unfortunately, I chose Tuscon Packard as a supplier.

I'm not about to tell you how to clean or not clean your parts. The issue is the time frame. If it was going to take you three weeks to clean them, then say so.

My property does not look like a junk yard, it fact it is a sculpture garden, open to the public, with the exception of one automobile that has no wheels on it because I'm still waiting for parts.

This morning I got an update from UPS telling me they have not yet received the package from you. I think it's clear why you ignored my requests for a tracking number these past few weeks. There was no tracking number because you hadn't shipped the package yet. (see attached frame grab)

I'm having a rollback tow truck come this afternoon to move the vehicle to a friend's place as have no idea when the parts will show up if at all.

I'm too angry and frustrated to tell you what I really think about this whole situation.

Gentlemen,

With all due respect to the general Forum audience, please move future dialogue on this specific item to a private conversation, where real closure can be attained.

It seems like communication, feedback, timeliness are the culprits of both frustrations.

Step back one and reset and then pick up a phone and voice-chat...easier to be polite over the phone.

Many thanks...not trying to be snotty, but this isnt appropriate on the forum.
