Caribbean owned originally by Max Rousell, every so often he would repaint his Caribbean convertible a new color scheme, his daughter and an old owner of this automobile shared some photographs with me of a few of the paint jobs and this was one of my favorites
Roman copper & Dover white 2 Tone

I did find the Roman Copper/Dover White/Roman Copper paint scheme attractive and an attention-getter and kept it for several years. But ultimately I chose to repaint 5699-1254 back to its original MES scheme and install the correspondingly correct interior.

Yes, the copper is one of my favorite colors. Big surprise considering I used to be an electrician. 😁

Shout-out also to my favorite non-factory color by far, maroon.

I just can't get enough of the first photo and the color. The second photo just needs a little sunshine to be perfect too.

Yes, Dave (O_D), it's like you to choose originality even when it's not to your taste. You'd probably sprinkle salt on a cherry pie if that was the old Packard custom.

This maroon Caribbean is always popping up on different sites, with good reason, it's a great looking car!!!

The canvas top is a bit visually jarring to me
