Just popping in

hi

just joined your fantastic site,i recently purchased a 56 patrician with only 24,000 original miles on it for $800 as the guy needed the room so i will be asking questions soon as the car has been sitting for 20 years and needs some tlc. rob

A 56 Pat is a terrific car and it sounds like you got it for a great price almost regardless of condition.

Please share pictures with us, and if you can, the story of your rebuild process in the "Project Blogs" forum. You can find that by going to the "Packard Forums" on the left, scrolling down to "Project Blogs" and create a new thread. You may want to read one or two to get the drift. Welcome to Packardinfo Bert, and you are correct - it is a fantastic site. Please do register the Patrician and document the serial number, pilfer number (stamped above the heater) and the trim code. And post many pictures. Glad to have you aboard.

welcome Bert! you should browse the posts! that will give you a feel for the site. it is great! however you need to learn early that we are a sarcatist bunch that like to take shots at each other and just have fun, we can be serious, but the banter is so fun. just ask the "aussie loonie" or erick the "god" lol
