I'm not sure how many owners are tackling these kinds of projects, but I had thought that a collection of patterns could be made for some of these common problem areas so people, or even shops working on cars, would have a bit of a head start. Hammer forming isn't difficult, just takes some time. As Packardsix1939 mentioned, the rear wheel openings are a common area to rust out. And as far as I know '51-'55 wheel openings are the same. Something to do in my spare time!
