A few recent FB postings:

1941 110 Coupe. Heavily damaged in a garage fire; may be a total loss but some parts appear salvageable. Unfortunately, it looks like this was a really solid original car before the fire. Floor pan looks excellent. Ad says engine will still fire. Asking $2K. Tulsa, OK:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1464260624494051/?

Another 1941 110 Coupe. Runs and drives and looks like a good driver quality car. Major drawback is the incorrect black vinyl interior, but rest of car looks pretty decent. Could use paint. Asking $9,500. Missouri:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/536785652291778/?

1940 120 Sedan. Abandoned restoration project. Body and paint work done and looks excellent. No engine or trans and interior still needs work. Asking $6K. New Hampshire:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1837886870377740/?

These cars are all located in Canada:

1934 1101 Standard Eight sedan. Car has apparently been in storage for many years and is covered in dust and dirt. But it looks like a real dream barn find. Appears to be all original and has dual side mounts. Ad states make an appointment to see car in April due to severe winter weather in the area. Winnipeg, Manitoba.

facebook.com/marketplace/item/3839841999665053/?

1930 733 Coupe. Beautifully restored in an attractive two-tone green color scheme. Needs nothing. Has disc wheels and the "sliding boy" radiator ornament. Winnipeg, Manitoba:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/664575552461703/?

1940 Henney Super Eight Hearse/Ambulance. Ad lists it as a service car. Appears to be very solid and complete but will require full cosmetic restoration. Has a recent plate on the back, so car may be running or may run with minimal effort. Brockville, Ontario:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/508676315034730/?

1939 110 Sedan. Running and driving car. Has incorrect paint job and vinyl interior but ok for a driver. Data plate indicates car was built in Packard's Windsor, Ontario plant. Asking $13K Canadian. Oshawa, Ontario:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1358957691741702/?

1941 120 Sedan. Old 1980's restoration that could use some redoing. Not running. Interior is worn and is out of the car. Body looks exceptionally solid. Asking $10K Canadian. Ontario:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/2818726998293044/?

1924 143 Single Eight. Complete rolling chassis only. Original body is missing. Has cowl, hood, radiator, disc wheels and other assorted components. Engine is disassembled. Ad claims this is the earliest known Single Eight model with a build date of May 1923. Asking $12K Canadian. Montreal, Quebec:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/227904930175538/?

1931 840 Roadster. Fully restored, I see an AACA award badge on the radiator. Beautiful orange and brown color scheme with dual mounts, Trippe lights, wire wheels and wide whites. Everything you could ever want in a Packard. Repentigny, Quebec:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1762627604538242/?

1938 120 Coupe. Listed as a '37 but it is a '38. Only two photos but car looks pretty nice. Ad states "Voiture en excellente condition". Asking $28K Canadian. Quebec:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/417711587501995/?

1955 Patrician. Photos a bit blurry but this car appears to be either well restored or an excellent original. Asking $24,800 Canadian. Quebec:

How the heck did they turn a sedan front seat into a hardtop front seat on that 55, and why??

I saw nothing in the listing that says that the 1940 Henney-Packard is a Super Eight and it would be highly unusual for it to be one. The majority were 120 (1801A in this case) with Super Eight trim. There were Super Eights but very, very uncommon. In any event, it looks like a good coach although whichever model it is, it is definitely not a service car which had blanked in side windows other than those in the front door.

It just occurred to me that if this is a Canadian-built coach, it may be a Brantford which I believe was owned by Henney but it could also possibly have been a Miller or other coach builder although it appears to be Henney (or Brantford) to me.

That 1934 is intriguing but at 79k miles I'm sure the driveline would need to be rebuilt straight away. Would be a very nice project for someone with some aptitude, and thankfully it's not a 12, so it would be easier and cheaper to do, comparatively.

PackardDon. I was going by the hood louvers which look like the ones on a Super Eight. But I know that you are an expert on the Packard professional cars, so I would defer to you.

Thank you for the kind words although I'm not as much an expert as some but I do know specific years well. The Henney 1801A (120) used the Super Eight 160 trim although the one in Facebook Marketplace appears to have incorrect wheel covers which look like the 1942 type or possibly postwar. This article shows one of the rare Super Eight models and it also shows a 1941 service car although some references to wheelbases on later models is incorrect. From 1948 through 1954, the wheelbase was 156" but the article has various numbers.

Packard Don: Thanks so much for the article on Henney. I have read other articles about the Henney built Packard professional cars, but this one contained info I was not previously aware of. Just goes to show that no matter how much you know about a subject, there is often still a lot you don't know.

Think that 1940 would be a great project for you to take on!

I'm afraid that at my age no more projects are needed or even wanted! If I did take it on, I wouldn't have time left to actually enjoy the result even if I got the work done and it's not likely I would.

One more from Canada:

1949 (23rd Series) Super Deluxe Club Sedan. Body No. 2375. Posting this one because it is such a rare car. Long wheelbase Club Sedans are quite scarce, especially for the 23rd Series. Do not think I have ever seen one of these before. Car is partially disassembled but appears complete with solid, rust-free sheet metal. All chrome is intact and appears to be in relatively good condition. Has Ultramatic Drive. Definitely a very worthy project. Asking $2,950. Windsor, Ontario:
