it's nice to see those men actually worked on the cars what with their greasy overalls and well stained white coat. I used to get a chuckle every time I saw one of the shop photos in the Service Letters and Counselors where a mechanic is shown doing something guaranteed to be a dirty undertaking while wearing a pressed and spotless white coat.

Major visual clues for 1934 are the gas tank filler in the rear taillight and the skirt and crown of the front fender. Size of front bumper end cap identifies it as an Eight.

You might also take note of the metal-plated inner tube valve stem covers, 1934 was the last year for their useage.

The size of the front bumper does not necessarily peg this car as an Eight. There are many cases where Eight bumpers were installed on Super Eight cars... and vice versa.

Dave could very well be correct that it's an Eight. I'm just saying it could also be a Super Eight, with Eight bumpers on it.
