Steering column and gauge cluster parts painted. Painting a long tube evenly all the way about is actually fairly difficult.

It would have been better if I could have stood it on end. It wasn't until I was cleaning up that I realized the tube actually fitd over my floor jack handle. That's where it is currently resting unit it fully cures.

The pics inside actually make it look more brown than it actually is. I think my phone did that because of the kitchen lights.

It sprayed with some orange peel, so I needed adjust the reducers and play around with the gun settings a bit. But the color is exactly what we wanted. This is not in direct sunlight. If I turn the are car around on the garage, the color gets very dark. So it a bit of a chameleon. The color on my 54 is very similar in that respect.




I'll probably knock it down, and reshoot it.

Also got the dash struture painted:

It's looking good and interesting the color change of the firewall from bright light to the darker room.

Gauge cluster and firewall both look great! I may have missed it earlier, but where is your water temp gauge?

I sent it out to have it rebuilt. It has come back and is stored downstairs. It is too easy to damage the tube, so I have it tucked away until it time to put it back in the car.
