Very nice! I expect that the insides of your doors are now painted far better than they ever were.

Yes, they were mostly red primer before with a little black over spray.

It should definitely be better protected now.

Just one picture for today. The dash is going back together and looks awesome. The glove box door will go on later. It is currently getting the inside painted the dark brown.

I went over to check on Birdie today.

The headliner is in and looks great. Also, the rear armrests and interior body panels around there rear are in. Clarence is working on the rear seat now.

Also, the rear window glass and trim has been installed along with the third brake light/turn signal light that I’m adding. The light just has to be affixed to the rear window.

The rear quarter windows are also in with the new rubber. Since rubber is not available for the 138, I had to use two sets for a 120 from Steele and splice them together. This results in two seams where the rubber was glued together, but it worked out well and keeps the windows operational. It will end up better once the rubber is actually glued in place. For now, the rubber is just set in place.

It looks great! I'm jealous, I wish my upholstery were further along.

A little more progress. The rear door panels have been installed. Clarence is sewing the rear seat bench today and the center divider should get installed today.

Thanks! It’s getting very close to being done. They are going to have it ready for me to have in our local county fair parade about a week from now. There will be a few things to finish up, so I’ll have to take it back to them.

The upholsterer told me that he’s having an issue with the rear armrest working properly and not to use it next week. But, he’ll get it sorted out when I bring it back to him.

I’ll also have to get it back to the shop for the “Old Ivory” pin striping to be added on the body and wheels.
