I don't know if the situation has changed much but a few years ago there were several looking for the 55-6 AC fans and as I recall, at that time they were fairly hard to come by. I really doubt it is much better now and no idea how many V8 models were equipped with AC. It was still a new and fairly expensive option so doubt it was more than a number in the hundreds including the ARA aftermarket trunk units some dealers sold instead of the factory AC. A surprising number still exist though and most of those are not likely to be considered parts cars. Don't imagine the few that are now actual parts cars still have the fans.
If one doesn't turn up, most if not all of those people looking for the heavy duty fan at that time finally wound up buying modern flex fans. IIRC, one or two did manage to adapt a Mopar fan by using a custom made pump hub or adapter. A couple of more people just went with an electric fan in front of the condenser and radiator.. If you wind up going the flex fan or Mopar route be aware that the center locating portion of the Packard hub is fairly large as is shown in the size of the hole in Packard Don's photo. Non Packard fans have much smaller center holes so some have used washers to space the fan out away from the hub and just relying on the 4 mounting bolts in the fan slots to center and enable the fan to bolt on. For a proper and safe install it would be a good idea to get a conversion adapter to locate the fan on the hub which because of the smaller holes in most of the modern fans will probably need to be custom machined. You might luck out and find something at a speed shop that fits both dimensions but that is not a given.

I would try Gerry at Packards Southwest and see if he may have one, or Mike Dulinski as both of them have copious 55/56 parts.
