Wish I had blueprint. Positive ground, must be why full tank high ohms 56 tank full 10 ohms. So took apart sending unit top to reverse ohms. Which once I had blueprint didn’t need to. Original unit works , cleaned up well with phosphoric acid ,, Attach file: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I cleaned this up as best as possible in a reasonable amount of time.

First try as a Susie.
Definitely need a walking foot machine. Had to pull it thru so I have dui .lines. guess that's SUI. And it creased. To do the seats need a walking foot, I'll give this to school or somewhere. Nice table but machine is gutless. Thin stuff fine., Guess if I used black it wouldn't show as bad, black looked blah

I tried to sew pleats for my door panels on a standard home sewing machine. I had the same problems as you. It was not strong enough, thread was not big enough, and the lack of a walking foot made consistent stiches impossible.
I ended up marking the pleats I wanted on my material, then taking it to a local upholsterer. I think I paid him like $50 for him to quickly stitch the pleats on all the panels. Since I had done all the measuring beforehand, he just zipped them through the machine and had them all done in like 15 minutes. It was well worth it having someone with the skill and equipment to do it right. ![]() Old left, new right ![]()
