Hi all,

I am now the proud owner of a beautifully made and chromed Cormorant, courtesy of Max Merritt, I must tell you I had a tear in my eye when I saw it, it is devastatingly glorious!

It is particulary apt as there are legions of Cormorant here on the west coast of Ireland, I can see them standing on marker bouys holding their wings out like the Grim Reaper!

Pat.

Just be sure to find a large chain or a co-pilot with a shotgun so those magnificent wings don't take flight.

That is just lovely. I'm sure Max doesn't make them, is it stainless steel like Don Sommer's, or chrome-plated bronze, if you know.

My personal favorite is Daphne (Adonis at the well) but unfortunately it isn't correct for 1934, if it were I'd have one on the car in a heartbeat.

The angels sang, the clouds parted, and Pat's hood ornament came out of the sky...

It's a beauty!

Congratulations on the magnificent Packard symbol. We need a picture of the bird at its assigned task, sitting atop the hood of your automobile.
