Look who just got back from the upholstery shop. Tom's Upholstery in Brantford out did themselves on this install. Terry Vantilborg installed it and commented it sure is not like the normal big 3 he deals with regularly!
...and no, that is not an original rear window, rather one of my own design, and the image in the rear view mirror is a perfect match to it as well!
Very happy!
Bob J.

I'd say the oval window looks better than the tiny rectangular one, and probably offers better visibility.

Yes, looking forward to getting to some shows now, a little more flexible not having to worry if it is going to rain before we get back!
I have put over a thousand miles on her during her break-in this past couple of years, seem to have all the issues addressed now. Nice to just drive and relax some.

Congrats, Greata is a beauty and the picture of what a prewar Packard should look like. What excuse will you use for "garage time" now that she is done? I guess there is always time for Rub-a-Dub.

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

Thank you so much. Yes, I get asked all the time now what is next. I tell them it is all over for doing a total restoration. As you all know it takes a lot out of you to do this stuff, I have done 6 restoration projects before her and she is my opus. I could not have done her years ago, I made a lot of mistakes and learned so much from those other jobs, that allowed me to take this wonderful barn find up to a truly operational model that I took on an 80 mile road trip with our car club yesterday. Leading those cars along the byways and highways is what I was dreaming of through all those hours in the garage. Drive, tinker and polish from now on for me!
