For lifters, I buy direct from Johnson Hylift, AFAIK the only remaining US manufacturer and trust their catalog.

Here is my collection of lifters:
- 2 of NOS plus like 20 of used 476060
- 9 of Sealed Power HT-879 (flash rust on some)
- 8 of TRW VL58
- 16 of 37-7314 in Unitap By RMS CA-3500 box (not sure if box is related)

The 37-7314 seem a good replacement as well as the rod seats nicely and the overall height is the same as NOS and the HT-879. The VL58 the rod is 1/8" too tall. Not sure if the seat radius is correct.
