Here you can see my garage helper, who's really good about clearing out spiders and crickets from my garage, he has a buddy somewhere in there but I couldn't find him to take his picture:

I need to move the Speedster closer to the center of the garage, as I only have about 16" between it and the south wall of the garage. Hence the closeness of this pic showing the valve cover-turned-air box:

Where that small rubber hose is there will be a larger diameter tube mounting the throttle body and the throttle body in turn will be connected to the "PackTronic" fuel injection unit. The "PackTronic" will be where the air cleaner connects to, on top, and the turbo's will draw air through it like it did on the engine it was originally off of. The fuel injector location is what I'm currently working on now, as I'm trying to figure out how to get two injectors to fit in a 1.5" tube, and as close to the engine as possible. The setup also had a 9th injector, that was originally a "cold start injector". Since I won't be driving this in very cold weather, I will be using it as a boost-operated injector, which provides additional fuel when under 5psi or more boost. All of this stuff will migrate over to the new engine when it arrives hopefully this week if it dries up enough.

New updates on the Speedster, my "new" pair of 356's showed up today, one complete '47 356 and a '48 356 block and head. The '47 engine has an "HC" head on it, not sure if this was an option or not. The '48 engine has a regular '48 356 head. Both blocks look rebuildable, and the '47 engine isn't stuck, so I'll start on that one first. The '48 block will be a backup in case something is seriously wrong with the '47 block. The '47 356 has an intake and exhaust manifold, and I won't be using it, so if someone needs it it's for sale. Also, I won't be using the heads on either engine, so they're both for sale too. Speaking of heads, the '53 327 head WILL FOR SURE fit the 356 engine, and vice versa. Here's some pics of the heads side by side, the 327, '47 356, and '48 356:
