Hi guys:

I normally do not come onto this forum, not because of prejudice, but I just have never had anything of a 57/58 Packard nature. Well I ran into a guy earlier this week who told me he had a 58 Hawk in his back yard. It is(as he described) a field car. It has no engine/tran and the car has been vandalized, but it might be good for a parts car.
He wants $500 for it. It located a few miles from me in Salem Ala. In the next week or so I will try to get over there to get pictures. If anyone has any interest at all I will forward the pictures to you.

ALK

Al. if u run across any motorcycle SIDECARS Indian, HD, Goulding, Henderson or Flexi let me know. Even if they are field finds. Body rust or condition of body not a major issue.

Al, I might be interested in the tail lights. Don't know if they will fit on my '57 Clipper, but what the hell. If he only wants $500 for the whole car.....

The 58 Packard hawk tail light are not going to fit the 57 Clipper the C - K coupe bodies Studebaker share almost no sheet metal or trim pieces with the Y bodies which are the 57 Clipper. The 57 have add on pieces to allow the Packard stlye tail light to be installed on modified rear fenders .

So, Jack Vines,

Did you ever get those parts? If not, I'd be interested in finding this one. I just bought a P.H. and my guess is that I'm going to get really good at tracking down parts over the next few years.

Sorry for the rather late response, but the car is gone, don't know where, but all contact info is lost.
