For anyone looking for the correct style of Heater Hose clamps for 51-56 (and possible other years) you can buy a box of 25 of them for $6.99. They are about $5 per clamp from the big Packard vendors. So a big cost savings if you need more than 2 of them.
This ebay vendor has multiple 25 pack boxes of them: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140407745784 Mopars and Camaros used this same style 5/8" Corbin style heater hose clamp. Just thought I would pass this along as I just bought a box. I guess I will have 23 spares as I only needed 2.

If u don't have the special pliers for R&R the clamps then maybe ask if the seller of the clamos has any of the pliers for sale too.

A few of my cars use those. I just use a cheap pair of pliers with a groove dremeled in.

Do the cheap clamps work properly on the cheap hose one gets nowdays. That's one issue I had with that type clamp being a lot of the hose today is smaller outside diameter and clamps don't shrink enough.

As of a year ago or so, the heavier-walled heater hose was still available from Gates, though that may no longer be the case.

I like to use "tower" clamps. You get the clamping action, but without the 70's look.
Ford used these style of clamp from 1959 onward.

Don,
Those are neat clamps. They look easy to get at for removal and tightening purposes also. I am just going with the correct style OE clamps that came on my '54. It just so happens that there are the same ones the late 60s MOPAR and Camaros used.
