Oh, if I was asking almost 3/4 of a million dollars for a car I think I would pull the car out of the garage, wash it and take some very good pictures.... but that's just me ;)

Other than the claim that he owned it, I don't see what significance that makes to the value of the car other than the normal value it has. If it was also tied to some historic event and he owned it then I can see a certain small premium over normal value. It's not like this was the JFK assassination car, the Bonney and Clyde shoot out car, or even a car that Capone had custom modified with built in tommy guns and hidden compartment for running 'Shine.

Just my .02

I knew somebody whose father was given a mint original Packard touring car in the 1950's.

It was triple black.

Her mother called it a "gangster car" and refused to allow it in the driveway.

So they called the junkyard.

Ok Al Capones Family Donated this car to the Cars and Stars museum that has been torn down now. It was in Nashville. We bought the car from that museum. Who had it for many years ever since the Family donated the car

If it was Al Capone's car, and his family donated it to the Museum, and you bought it from the Museum, then when/how did Roy Acuff and Marty Robbins come to own it at one time??

Where's Geraldo Rivera when you need him? He'd figure this mystery out. Heck, he'd probably buy the car and put it with the empty beer bottle he found in Al Capone's safe...
