Is the proper term 'Sport Phaeton' ??
Here are a few references to a 'Sport Phaeton' model: packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=7773 dochemp.com/33packardspt.html flyingagarage.com/1934packard.html "The Sport Phaeton was not illustrated in the sales catalogue, on the theory that the body style made it a second or third car for a wealthy family which might be enticed to buy the more expensive Super Eight Sport Phaeton. Consequently, only five dual cowl phaetons were built. The Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton on display is one of three that remain today."

Bill, a phaeton and a touring are not the same body style. Using 1934 for an example:
Type 710 Eight - touring, 5-7 passenger, 136 inch wb Type 711 Eight - phaeton, 4 pass, 136 inch wb Type 721 Eight- sport phaeton, 4 pass, 136 inch wb Type 750 Su8 - touring, 5-7 pass, 5-7 pass, 142" wb Type 751 Su8 - phaeton, 4 pass, 142" wb Type 761 Su9 - sport phaeton, 4 pass, 142" wb Generally, though apparently not the case with the short wheelbase 126 touring, tourings had seating for 7. "Gunnison" who visits this site occasionally is much more of an authority on the distinctions between the two, perhaps he'll comment further. If you're further interested, you might contact the author of CCCA's "Coachwork Lines", Walt Gosden, who is also quite an authority on these matters. He's at <coachworklines@aol.com>.

I'm still considering buying the car but haven't been able to find any values of this model.
Sure would appreciate some help to what it might be valued at so I can offer a fair price.
