Should be lacquered cloth, 7mm and all sell that size & type but one of the experts should be along to give you color particulars. Battery cable to the starter might have originally been 1 gauge, but O gauge is a better choice IMO. Brillman is a respectable source for all these needs. www.brillman.com Posted on: 2011/1/4 8:57

They also sell the brass fittings. The wire is not correct in that it's not fabric wrapped, but it works well. You can also buy their 7.5 gauge kit for a 68 or so Plymouth 318 V8.
