I just got back from the museum. They have a 1940 160 convertible coupe, but it is obvious that the trunk was lined in completely wrong carpet when it was restored, and wasn't even done well so I didn't bother taking pictures.

The photos here are from a completely original 1941 Darrin, which I thought would be good for you to show the original way in which the top box was finished.

And, as some may have already known, the trunk of a 1936-37 120 is completely different than your car, so the original convertible sedan at the museum was almost a wasted trip down the stairs. I say, "almost," because I was hoping to find a way to steal it.

PS. You might consider posting your painted body photos on your restoration blog.

Thanks for doing that, West. Looks like more "hog's hair." This Sunday Dave in Portland is going to take some pix of his car's trunk. That should clinch it. I guess judges never open the trunk, off limits? That's why there are no specs floating around? And why so many cars are different. Here's to less junk in the trunk.

Classic Car Club doesn't judge trunks. I don't know about Packard. However, AACA DOES judge trunks.
